Regulations Governing Conduct in Thompson Park

The following are prohibited:

  1. Alcoholic beverages and/or controlled substances.
  2. Pets not on a leash. (All pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.
  3. Unlicensed gasoline motorized vehicles.
  4. Loud music or disturbances as per city ordinances.
  5. Automobile repairing
  6. Removal or damage to any building, article of property, shrubbery, flowers, trees, plants or wildlife.
  7. Firearms, fireworks or any other explosive devices.
  8. Littering. ($100 fine)
  9. Selling, soliciting, posting signs or notices without permission.
  10. Ball golf, archery, model airplanes or rockets without permission.

Enforcement:

No person shall fail to comply with any lawful order of the Thompson Park Superintendent or any of his agents or any law enforcement officer in the administration and enforcement of any of the park rules and regulations contained in any city ordinances or state law applicable to the protection of the health, safety, welfare and peaceable enjoyment of the park by the public and the preservation of the park property as per ordinances 165.03; 165.04; 165.05; 165.06; 165.99, and 509.15
